LAURA KIGHTLINGER, creator and star of IFC’s critically acclaimed The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman, for which she garnered a Satellite Best Actress nomination, has run the cable gamut. Along with several stand-up specials, she appeared as a series regular in HBO’s Lucky Louie.  In an industry of triple threats, she has established herself as an amber alert with writing credits including: Roseanne, Dennis Miller Live, Will & Grace, where she appeared as recurring character, Nurse Sheila.  She is currently a consulting producer on Two Broke Girls. Her sci-fi series, Exposition 7 is one of the first shows to be acquired by Virgin Airlines and is available for viewing on any Virgin flight.

She recently co-wrote and starred in a pilot entitled Drunk & Disorderly with Marylynn Rajskub and Patton Oswalt. She has appeared in a handful of forgettable feature films most recently, “The Truth About Lies.”

Kightlinger’s book, ‘Quick Shots of False Hope’ described in the New York Times Book Review as “memorable, disturbing and darkly comic,” is being adapted for film.

As a filmmaker, Laura’s short film, Dependable People won the Black Maria Directors’ Citation and the IFCT Best Director Award in 2002.  Her documentary, 60 Spins Around the Sun about political satirist turned activist, Randy Credico and his fight to repeal the Rockefeller Drug Laws, while struggling with his own personal demons, follows Credico to Tulia, Texas during a racially motivated drug bust. It features stand-up comics: Larry David, Colin Quinn, Vanessa Hollingshead and Nick DiPaolo.  60 Spins Around the Sun won ‘Best Documentary’ at the (2006) Empire State, Beverly Hills and Boston Film Festivals and is available on Netflix.

JACKIE KASHIAN's comedy is like listening to a really racy episode of All Things Considered. She is comic, writer, and occasional actor… she just did her first late night set on the Conan O’Brien show, has a half hour special on Comedy Central and has recorded an episode of This American Life with Ira Glass, Her latest CD, “It Is Never Going To Be Bread” was one of the top ten comedy albums of the year on Amazon. She hosts a weekly cult fave podcast called “The Dork Forest” where she creates a safe space for people to admit that thing they dork out about more than anyone.

JAMES FRITZ's first album, “Deflated,” debuted at #1 on iTunes comedy in November 2010. He has appeared in the Just For Laughs festival, opened for such diverse performers as Doug Stanhope, Jamie Kilstein, and Maz Jobrani, and was voted the #1 Stand-up Comedian in Chicago in the Chicago Reader.

BRENT WEINBACH's stand-up comedy is weird and stupid and visual and post-modern and random and other stuff. Brent is a winner and recipient of the Andy Kaufman Award, which is given out once a year to recognize innovation in stand-up comedy.  He has appeared on Conan, Lopez Tonight, Comedy Central, HBO, IFC, and toured with the Comedians of Comedy.

BILLY WAYNE DAVIS is what you would get if Lenny Bruce, Bill Cosby and Foghorn Leghorn had a baby, only he doesn’t look like some kind of horrible mutant.

Originally from Nashville, TN, he has been touring all over the country for the better part of a decade, winning audiences over with a combination of humor both cutting and absurd that puts him pretty squarely into a league of his own.

Just added to tonight’s lineup: JOE ZIMMERMAN!

After making the move to New York city from North Carolina in 2011, Joe Zimmerman has quickly gained attention for his unique point of view, and in August his Comedy Central debut aired on The John Oliver New York Stand Up Show. 2013 has been a big year, also taping a set for Nickelodeon, placing third at the Laughing Skull festival, reaching the finals of the Laughing Devil festival, being selected by Ricky Gervais as a finalist for Conan, showcasing as one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch,” making his debut on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Show, and going to the Montreal Comedy Festival as a “New Face” where he was positively reviewed by both The Spit Take and Time Out NY for standing out. Joe is an original member of the Beards of Comedy, who toured from 2008 to 2012 as the most highly requested comedy show in the southeast. The Beards recorded two albums, their most recent “Cardio-Mix,” with Comedy Central Records.

Mike Burns is a Los Angeles comedian, writer, and actor via New York via Chicago via born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan.

Mike has written and performed at venues such as Second City Chicago, iO, Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Chicago Sketch Festival. Other festival appearances include The Chicago Improv Festival 2005, The Seattle Sketchfest 2006, The New York International Fringe Festival 2007, The DC Comedy Festival 2007, The HBO Las Vegas Comedy Festival 2007, and Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival 2010, 2011 & 2012. In 2005, he was a semi-finalist for The Andy Kaufman Award.

Mike is also the creator of the cult hit twitter feed, @DadBoner where he ghost narrates the life of Karl Welzein from a first person perspective. Karl’s a despondent American post-marriage Midwestern persona from Grand Blanc, Michigan who loves beer and pizza, going to the bar with his roommate Dave, and is forever “really lookin’ forward to the weekend, you guys.” Karl wants something bigger and better for himself, but the sad truth is that no matter how hard he tries, his tendencies towards excessive drinking, fast food binges, and endless mistakes just add up to a hilarious novelistic adventure for people to watch unfold through the looking glass.

Mike’s been regaled as a “literary genius” by The Huffington Post and can be seen performing comedy regularly at venues throughout Los Angeles.

Burns also does fashion consulting, styling, and other crap like that. He loves Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bob Seger, Ric Flair, and 70′s-80′s muscle cars that he can’t afford. He’d like you to buy him a cold beer. Nothin’ fancy, just whatever’s on special is fine.

“@Dadboner is a work of timeless genius.” – Anthony Bourdain

Dan St Germain
was chosen as featured comic in Variety’s annual prestigious “10 Comics To Watch” list. Time Out New York has remarked that “St. Germain has a playful, freewheeling sensibility that sends the audience tumbling through daydreams of his design.” Dan’s Comedy Central special The Half Hour recently hit the airwaves, and he’s now busy developing a script for the network called Hell Hole. He has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, Best Week Ever, John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, The Electric Company, and a bunch of other basic and not-so-basic cable programs. Don’t watch his drunken racist rant on Oxygen. He was going through a rough time. IAN KARMEL is a Portland comedian who just relocated to Los Angeles. PETE HOLMES is a comedian. Maybe you know him from his podcast You Made It Weird. Or his videos with FrontPage Films. Maybe you saw his half-hour Comedy Central Presents. Or on Conan. Or Jimmy Fallon. Or maybe you saw him on VH1. Or heard him as the e*trade baby. Or on Comedy Central’s Ugly Americans. Pete was named one of Variety’s Top Ten Comics to Watch in 2011. Pete also draws cartoons for The New Yorker, wrote for NBC’s “Outsourced” and FOX’s “I Hate My Teenage Daughter,” and will be the host of TBS’ upcoming “Pete Holmes Show,” airing 10/28/13.

Actress, comedian, writer and shoe lover, ANDI OSHO has been performing since 2003 when she strode the boards in her stage debut, What Happened Last Night? Though not formally recognised as a classic (it was dire) Osho made the most of this gay rape pantomime and went from strength to strength, pursuing her acting dream, going on to appear in a plethora of UK soaps, dramas and comedy – totally nailing the portrayal of characters who work in the emergency services. This included a police officer in Waking The Dead, A doctor in Footballer’s Wives and four appearances in Eastenders as a nurse (a different one each time, which technically makes her a qualified medical practitioner).

In 2007, Andi turned her hand (well her brain and her mouth) to stand up comedy winning a raft of awards, appearing on top stand up comedy shows, many of which involved having the name of the show in very bright lights behind her head. This did not distract her from the job at hand though and she turned in memorable performances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Stand Up For The Week and Live At The Apollo (which not only included bright lights, but dry ice too).

If this weren’t enough of an achievement (for Andi, the ’I’ve made it’ moment came as she coughed her way through the Live at The Apollo dry ice but whatever), Andi also won not one, but two Mastermind crowns when she chose The Matrix Trilogy and then host John Humphrys as her specialist subjects (luckily the Radio 4 stalwart and political commentator had a sense of humour about it or that could have been a very awkward 30 minutes of television).

Andi is now well established as a regular contributor on TV and Radio as well as her continued live work on the stand up circuit including three live solo stand up tours.

Andi’s favourite things include shoes, her mum and cats. Not in that order… actually a little bit in that order.

EDWIN LI began working as a comedian at the age of 16, barreling through five minute open mike sets and hanging in the wings of the Punchline, picking the brains of any funnyman that would talk shop. His earnestness and shameless curiosity have made him a favorite with comedy veterans and club owners alike.

Edwin is developing his half-hour set in preparation for a heavy tour schedule. His rambunctious new set is a portrait of the wild, untamed energy of an American young man.

Howard Kremer is a comedian best known for his disdain for most pop music and his adoration of summah! After paying his dues as a comic in Austin, Howard was chosen to write and perform in the MTV show Austin Stories. As his rap alter-ego Dragon Boy Suede he has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and his very own Comedy Central Presents. Based in New York City, Kate Berlant has been performing her surrealist stand-up comedy across the country and in festivals such as Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Los Angeles’ Riot Alternative Comedy Festival. She has opened for Reggie Watts and was named by TimeOut New York as one of the “Three Comics to Watch” in June 2012.  Once described as “if David Lynch did stand-up,” her sets are rooted in improvisation and often leave audiences wondering what just happened to them. She runs a weekly show “Crime & Punishment” at Lower East Side staple the Cake Shop, which regularly features acts such as Janeane Garofalo, Michael Showalter, and Hannibal Buress.

Mike Stanley
is all of these things, but none, when put on paper, quite manage to serve the justice dealt by Stanley onstage. Yeah, he’s pretty hilarious, but more than just coarse anecdotes about life and sex, there’s an enviable amount of heart and warmth behind Stanley’s humor. Given his penchant toward brutal honesty, spiced up with a healthy dose of insatiable wit, it’s not difficult to see why Stanley was named “Best Chicago Stand-up Comedian” in a Peoples Choice poll done by the Chicago Reader and ranked in the top 10 of the best comedians in Chicago by a poll on Comedy.com.

Adam has also hosted original TV pilots for Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel. His own web series, My Dad is in a Boy Band, was featured on the Today Show. He now lives in Los Angeles and looks forward to the day he can grow a real solid beard.

Andrew Orvedahl is a comedian and person currently based in Denver, Colorado. If you were a comedy sommelier, you might say his comedy is somewhat cerebral, with a dry finish and floral notes of sarcasm. He prefers mixing real-life stories with creative (and often improvised) observations within those stories. He is a regular at his home club, the renowned Comedy Works in Denver, and has performed at the Aspen, Las Vegas, Seattle, Great American, Bridgetown, and Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festivals.
